It's Chandrababu Naidu's birthday today. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Chiranjeevi wished the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The Megastar, true to his warm style, described the TDP chief as one of the most sincere leaders.

"Happy Birthday to one of the most hard-working and committed leaders Chandrababu Naidu garu. Wish you good health, happiness, and long life serving people (sic)," the actor and former politician wrote.

It may be noted that, long before Chiru formed the Praja Rajyam Party, he was perceived to be fond of Babu's leadership qualities and governance style from 1999 to 2004. They shared the stage at the 100-days event of 'Indra', when Chiru, then seen as an aspiring politician, hailed him to the skies.

Years later, they would become arch-rivals in politics. In 2009, it is said that PRP was instrumental in dividing the Opposition vote, paving the way for YS Rajasekhar Reddy to retain power in a tough battle.
