Recently, the Telugu Film Journalists Association provided groceries to 35 needy families of film journalists among its members to help them tide over the COVID-19 crisis. Megastar Chiranjeevi has appreciated the Association for its work.
"Heartily appreciate the brotherly spirit among film journalists, who are looking after their own people in every possible way," the 'Acharya' actor tweeted out, captioning the tweet with #UnitedAgainstCorona.
Recently, TFJA said that the inspiration behind the noble acts is the Megastar himself. "Chiranjeevi garu, inspired by you, we provided groceries to 35 needy members of our Telugu Film Journalists Association for a month. You started it .. We are following you," the Association said.
Last June, Chiru came forward on his own to extend a helping hand to the Association. "The electronic, web and print media are like a bridge between film industry persons and the audience. It's highly commendable that the Association is providing health insurance to journalists. I have liked the concept of health cards. I have also learned about other welfare activities being undertaken by the Association. That's why I have come forward to do my bit to support it. I desire that my contribution will go towards health insurance. I assure that I and my family will always be there whenever journalists need any help," he said back then.
