Megastar Chiranjeevi on Tuesday took to social media to thank a school-going girl by the name of Anshi for her gesture. The girl came in for appreciation because she has decided to contribute her savings to the Chiranjeevi trust towards the setting up of oxygen banks in the Telugu States.

In the video clip shared by the 'Sye Raa' actor, the girl is heard saying that she doesn't deem it fit to celebrate her birthday at a time when the coronavirus pandemic is ravaging the country. True celebration is when everyone has tided over the crisis, she suggests.

Acknowledging her gesture, the legendary actor-philanthropist said, "What a beautiful gesture Anshi!! I am so touched. You are a wonderful girl. God Bless you!!"

Chiru, who awaits the release of Koratala Siva's 'Acharya' later this year, is said to have earmarked a whopping Rs 30 Cr for the oxygen banks in each of the districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His son Ram Charan and his fans are steering the installation process. The actor and his team have made giant strides within a short time.
