It's known that Chiranjeevi Chaitrable Trust (CCT) has collaborated with Socialblood, a popular Facebook app. On March 27, hundreds of blood donation camps will be held by Mega fans.

Below is a communication from the organizers regarding this collaboration:

"We seek to break new ground in terms of meeting requirement of blood across India. Socialblood and CCT, together, shall enable online registration of blood donors and online connectivity to meet blood requirements in various hospitals and blood banks, across India. The app sets an exemplary example of the irreplaceable perks of technology.

"The app was founded in 2011 and has already become one of the prominent apps which uses Facebook to transform how hospitals, blood donors and blood banks can connect with each other to save millions of lives.

"The association of such an advanced technology marvel with the vast and hard-working workforce of CCT, aims to create a place, where shortage of blood shall no more be a cause of worry.

"The mobile app is slated to go live on March 27, which marks the birthday of MegaPower Star Ram Charan. The fans are also organizing blood collection camps not just across India, but in parts of Middle East and the US as well on the same day.

"Apart from conducting blood camps, the Mega fans are also geared up to paint smiles on the faces of orphans, by inviting them for lunch and cake cutting. This activity with the kids shall happen across the following locations, Vizag, Kurnool, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Khammam, Anantpur, Tadepalli, Gudem, and Chittoor."
