In his debut direction, actor Prashanth has caught hold of a good screenplay but the much deserved was the need of good actor. In his place Prashanth could have roped in a popular actor. In his dialogues and required force Prashanth is not convincing. Considering the winning point in mind, he should have given chance to at least a moderate box office hero.

There are many guessing elements especially when the hero is shot by heroine and heroine by another unidentified person at the interval block.

What the audiences think does not happen and keeps on moving in good pace and intriguing moments occur on screen. ‘Chiraayu’ climax and a few scenes are not acceptable. When the hero faces bullet on his heart and heroine on her spinal escapes easily from death but the bullet hit on a friend on the left of hip, he is declared dead. Audience notices such thing and also how did the power come in the hero to take on so many goons needs justification. One should look at Arjun ‘Abhimanyu’ how he builds his character via running a Karate School to showcase his power in him.

The journey of love in the life of Chiru and Aru takes a turning point at the interval. Both are hospitalized for bullet hit. It is a script read out by a director Om Prakash Rao and his team for making original film. The second part is not found in the script. They reach Mangalore to meet the script writer. He is none other than the hero of the film. It is second half what you heard says Chiru. He goes on flashback for the first half.

Then what is the climax asks Om Prakash Rao. You are going to see it real. Chiru goes for final round of clearance of bad guys.

The main disturbance is the dialogue delivery of Prashanth. As a hero this kind of film does not suit him. Shuba Punja as female lead wins from her charm and skin show. Om Prakash Rao gives comic relief, Avinash is deadly, Muni is chilling, Ramakrishna and Pavitra Lokesh come out well.

GR Shanker has managed to give two melodies. Cinematography is disturbing at places although the coloring is different for climax.

Score – 5/10
