The audio release function of 'Chinna Babu', starring Karthi and directed by Pandiraj, was held on Saturday in Vizag. The event was graced by Suriya as the chief guest.

Yesteryear actress Bhanu Priya said, "I am very happy to be here and meet you all people, thanks to this function. Pandiraj has extracted the best performances from every artist. Karthi has done a nice job."

Writer Sashank Vennelakanti said, "The teaser of the film is getting a great response. The songs have come out really well. I hope that producer Miriyala Ravindar Reddy garu will make profits from this movie."

'Kattappa' Satyaraj arrived there with a written speech. He said, "I was in Vizag in 1986 to shoot for a film in which I played the male lead. I am happy that the audio function of 'Chinna Babu' is being held today in Vizag. Pandiraj has written characters which are important to the story."

Director Pandiraj said, "Expectations from 'Chinna Babu' are as high as they are from the Tamil version. With Suriya and Karthi okaying the script, it's like I was already halfway through. Action, family emotions and love - you have them all in our movie."

Producer Miriyala Ravindar Reddy thanked the Andhra University students. AU was the event's venue. "I am waiting eagerly for this movie. 'Chinna Babu' tells the story of a son who emerges victorious as a farmer. His father wishes that he becomes a farmer. Karthi has done a great job in the role."

Karthi said, "I thank you all for supporting me and my brother all these years. I am proud to have done a film on farmers at a time when we all are forgetting the farmer. Suriya has appreciated us after watching the movie. 'Chinna Babu' drives home the message that we should all stay united. You will surely call up your siblings, parents, etc after watching the movie."

Suriya began his speech by greeting the Telugus. "We have made this film to tell the importance of farmers. Everybody can connect to the subject. Producer Ravindar Reddy garu has entered the industry out of passion.

Making this film with my brother has been a dream come true. I had come to Vizag during the making of 'Singham-3'. I still remember the love you all showered upon me. I wish that Karthi becomes a bigger star than me. With optimism, everything is possible. 'Chinna Babu' is a universal family entertainer," Suriya said.
