Singer Chinmayi has often been in news ever since she became a crusader of the Me too campaign against sexual harassment and abuse of women in the industry, and started exposing and fighting out against big names in the industry, and was eventually also banned from the dubbing union.
Having last dubbed for Trisha in last year’s hit movie 96, besides also singing all the songs, Chinmayi had not been dubbing in Tamil post the ban, and had also received very few singing offers. However, now she is back to dubbing, and the singer has taken it to Twitter to announce the same.
Chinmayi has dubbed for the Tamil version of Samantha’s upcoming Telugu movie Oh Baby directed by Nandini Reddy, and announced the news on Twitter with her tweet that read “Aaaaaaand. I DUBBED IN TAMIL for Samantha. Frankly it is only because of @nandureddy4u and @Samanthaprabhu2 that this was possible. Here’s to women who make life better for other women.” and shared the Tamil teaser. Oh Baby releases on July 5.
