Chinmayi's accusation against Vairamuthu of sexual misconduct in Switzerland and his office in Kodambakkam has left the film industry in shock and the lyricist has slammed it as an effort to tarnish his image and chose to ignore it. The singer had also shared a post alleging dance master Kalyan of a similar issue but has now warned that the post is fake.
Chinmayi has posted "A ‘prank’ Me Too is doing the rounds on Kalyan Master. It is absolutely unfair to smear professionals. Do NOT support and do not give it credence."
