Singer Chinmayi has been actively involved in the Me Too campaign, and had made accusation against lyricist Vairamuthu of being a sexual predator. While she has been sticking to her allegations, she has not been given a solution yet, and none from the film fraternity has come forward to voice out support for her.

Recently producer K Rajan had threatened to ruin her if she continues to speak ill of Vairamuthu, and responding to this speech of Rajan, Chinmayi had tweeted that naming Vairamuthu in 2018 has brought her so much shame, and with such people defending Vairamuthu, she's sure that she would not have received any support even if she had exposed him immediately after the incident.

One random twitter user had responded to her tweets saying that the solution for this is Chinmayi marrying Vairamuthu, and said that she doesn't have any work, and that she's a part of BJP. Replying to this tweet, Chinmayi gave a fitting reply without losing her cool that she is not interested in the user's idea.
