Popular singer Chinmayi has been exposing certain sexual predators for the past couple of days. She has named a film critic based in Tamil Nadu, among others. Latest, she has thrown her weight behind an unidentified woman who has come out in the open against iconic Kollywood lyricist Varaimuthu. ?

Sandhya Menon, a journalist, has named the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri recipient in a message she received from the victim. The unknown victim has maintained anonymity. She has alleged that Vairamuthu once hugged her, kissed her and touched her inappropriately when she was 18. "He did all that under the pretext of explaining the lyrics of a song," the victim has said.

Chinmayi has confirmed the allegation, stating that the Industry knows the truth. "The men know the time is bloody up," the outspoken singer has said.

When another user asked Chinmayi how she could be sure that its not a fake account she has replied "It is true and is not fake. So Please".
