Chinmayi accuses a popular Tamil actor of misbehaviour with women

Chinmayi, a renowned singer, voice actress, and 'Me Too' activist, took to social media on Friday to expose chats in which several women accused popular actor John Vijay of inappropriate behaviour. This revelation follows a recent report by The News Minute on a sexual assault case in Malayalam cinema, which also mentioned John Vijay's misconduct.
A woman has alleged that John Vijay behaves inappropriately with women in Chennai's pubs and clubs. Another woman recounted an incident where he made a college girl uncomfortable, while a woman interviewer accused him of attempting to touch her hip while the camera was rolling. In response to Chinmayi's tweet, Dhanya Rajendran, the editor of The News Minute, revealed that a friend of hers had a terrible experience with John Vijay.
