Based on a real life incident happened in Holenarasipura (the hometown of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda), director Mahesh Kumar has stitched a story, done the screenplay and directed the film titled 'Chindi'. Veteran gun supplier to Kannada films MP Babu is producing this film (with 15 years of experience in 500 plus films) from the savings he has made. What I have earned here I am investing it back, says Gun Babu speaking to media persons last Thursday at Kanteerava studio. His brother Sahil who is also a Gun master in films is Sarthak in this film, the second hero.

This is a captivating story line film that keeps the audience glued to the seats, promises director Mahesh Kumar. As a first time director for the debutant producer, he has chalked out plans and procedures to save the unnecessary expenditure. I have done proper home work, did lot of monitoring before approving the shots, said Mahesh Kumar.

The hero of 'Loki' Kannada film Vishwa is playing the wayward youth in 'Chindi'. Jasmine Rao, a contestant of Miss Karnataka who has acted in 'Atheetha' and 'Poo Malai' (Tamil) plays the female lead. Richa Sharma from Mumbai is the second heroine in 'Chindi'.

The first schedule of shooting starts from March 5th. Starting from Holenarasipura where the incident took place, the team of 'Chindi' will shoot in Bangalore and conclude the shooting in Holenarasipura taluk.
