China is reportedly working on using more and more robots in times of Coronavirus. With human involvement carrying a high degree of risk of infection spread, robots have been involved in supply chains.
"To reduce the risk of infection, these robots replaced people to cook and deliver food," China Daily has reported, presenting visuals of robots cooking, packaging and delivery.
Delivery of couriers, too, has been taken care of by robots in Hubei province. "The vastness of China's e-commerce market means that two million human couriers are delivering 100 million packages daily. Now Zhen Robotics is looking at ways to have robots handle the most expensive last mile," Compass List has reported.
Thousands of quarantined people have been served food by robots in China.
