'Chilipili Hakkigalu' a children film produced by C.S.Mahalakshmi, S.S.Ashwathnarayana (America), Jayalakshmi, Balasubramanya and N.Mahalakshmi completed 95 percent of shooting in and around Thirthahalli, Shimoga making use of the rich greenery. Dr.Girish Karnad, Master Kishen, Dattanna, Karibasavaiah, Mahalakshmi, Mukyamantri Chandru and some children took part in the 18 days schedule. Kodlu Ramakrishna is the director and H.M.Ramachandra is the cameraman.

J.M.Prahallad has written the story for this children film and noted literary personality H.S.Venkatesha Murthy has worked on the screenplay. V.Manohar is the music director.

One of the producers of this film C.S. Mahalakshmi is making debut in an important role in this film.
