Kids can ask more intelligent and sensitive questions than journalists. This was witnessed at the live countrywide web video conference organised with the actors of "Dhoom" here.

Through the interactive conference at cyber cafes of Reliance WebWorld, kids and media persons in major Indian cities chatted up the actors Friday afternoon.

The star cast of "Dhoom" - Abhishek Bachahan, John Abraham, Uday Chopra, Esha Deol, Rimmi Sen and the director of the film Sanjay Gadhvi spoke through the web video for two hours.

While most of the journalists were busy asking the actors the reasons behind promoting a film through video conferencing, the kids asked intelligent questions related to the film.

Most children wanted to know more about not just the characters, but also the bikes and special effects in the movie. They also asked questions about the raunchy "Tata Young" track which none of the journalists asked.

But the kids of Chandigarh happened to ask the most interesting questions and won prizes too.

One of the winners made the entire "Dhoom" team beam with joy when he said that he "freaked out" on the movie and wondered when they would make such an "awesome" movie again.

Abhishek stood up from his seat to thank the teenager and later he even gave a flying kiss to another teenager when she said she was a big fan of his.

The other centres had boring questions from the media. The latter part of the chat where the children interacted made up for all the lack of interesting questions.

Journalists had few queries to pose with most of them asking Esha Deol why she did a sexy number. Was it because her career was not moving forward? Another journalist blandly asked Deol if mom Hema Malini was present when the sexy number was shot.

Deol, though not articulate with smart answers, said that since item numbers and sexy numbers was the trend, she followed it. But she said she would not strip unless the script demanded. Sanjay Gadhvi whispered to her to tell them, "I will ask my father and let you know!"

Interestingly, one journalist had a problem identifying between Dino Moreo and John Abraham. He even said that since both the actors dated Bipasha Basu, how could John be differentiated in Indian Cinema.

To this rude and absurd question, John smartly replied: "We can't help it but both our names are from the minority community! Perhaps after the movie 'Dhoom' I will be identified differently!"

John had an interesting incident to share. "Recently I was invited by the MTV people as they had this Roadies show which went on with our concept of 'Dhoom'. They asked me to dance on the 'Dhoom' track. But at that time I realized I had forgotten the steps, so I told them how can I dance on this track now when the movie is yet not released. They took me seriously and thought it was exclusive to the movie not knowing that I had actually not done my homework," said John.

Sanjay Ghadvi said that working for Yashraj Films was like travelling in the best airline in a first class compartment. "The day I go on my own then I will have to actually start my own airline."

Later, IANS asked him if his movie characters were based on the earlier Bollywood mega hit "Sholay". "Not really but when we were shooting for the film we found a lot of similarities between the character of Big B with Abhishek and Dharmendra's with that of Uday. Actually we also have a dance tonga sequence which is inspired from the 'Sholay' flick," said Gadhvi.

Rimmi Sen was the quiet one in the team and had little to say. When she was asked by the Kolkata media if she would work in Bengali cinema, she said a firm 'no', but added that she would only work in a Bengali film with a big director like Rituparno Ghosh and other renowned directors.
