A doctor in Chennai reportedly made a child watch 'Bigil' after he came to know that the patient is a big fan of Thalapathy Vijay. He played the Atlee directorial on a mobile phone and had the medical procedure performed as the 10-year-old patient revelled in the football-based movie.

The news was originally reported by a Tamil daily. Thousands of Vijay fans have since shared the news on social media.

Vijay is currently shooting for a song of 'Beast', his upcoming movie directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film has Pooja Hegde as the heroine. Vijay will be doing a film with Vamsi Paidipally after 'BEAST'. The Paidipally movie, to be shot in both Telugu and Tamil, is a Dil Raju product. This will be one of the biggest releases of 2022. The shoot of the film will take months to begin from now.
