Child crying because of Trump is fake

Recently, the picture of a 2-year-old Honduran asylum-seeker crying in front of a domineering Donald Trump went viral across the world. The picture by TIME magazine depicts the separation of the child from its mother because the latter tried to illegally enter the US. Trump is against illegal immigration and his administration follows the policy of detaining elders who try to enter the country illegally. This has resulted in the separation of many young children and even toddlers from their parents.

However, the pic of the 2-year-old Honduran seeker is misleading, reports say. The child in question was not separated from its mother. The child is seen crying in the pic because the Border Patrol officers were searching her mother. After the search was done, the mother-child duo was allowed to walk free.

"The American media lied brazenly. The crying girl whose photo went viral and features on the TIME cover was never separated from her mother. Usual suspects amplified this mainstream media lie. That's how Left Liberal Antifa hate works. Goebbels comes across as an amateur," says journalist Kanchan Gupta.

However, the TIME magazine has defended its cover picture. "Under the policy enforced by the administration, prior to its reversal this week, those who crossed the border illegally were criminally prosecuted, which in turn resulted in the separation of children and parents. Our cover and our reporting capture the stakes of this moment," Time's editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal has told a news channel.
