The stage is all set for the grand felicitation programme organized by Tamil Film Fraternity for Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai today.

The who's who of the Tamil film industry led by Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth will be present to honor the Chief Minister for the measures that he had initiated for the betterment of Tamil film industry which includes tax-exemption for movies titled in Tamil.

Silambarasan, Shreya, Namitha, Sneha, Prakash Raj, Sibiraj, Sindhu Tolani, Srikanth, Rahasiya, Ramesh, Jeyam Ravi, Asin, Nayantra among others will perform for popular chartbusters from Kollywood.

Music directors Bharadwaj, Vijay Anthony, Dheena and Srikanth Deva will render songs while Nasser and Bhagyaraj will enact a play on the occasion.

The office-bearers of the Tamil Film Producers Council, Tamil Film Directors Association, Exhibitors Association, Distributors Association and FEFSI among other associations will be present on the occasion.

Shootings had suspended for Friday and Saturday for the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
