P Chidambaram's relative killed and dumped in a lake

In a shocking news, a relative of senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram has been abducted and killed by a three member gang near Coimbatore. C Shivamurthy who is 47 years old is a knitwear exporter in Tirupur. And when he didn’t return home from work on June 25, his family had filed a complaint with police.
The police then went on a search and located Shivamurthy’s car in Vengili in Vellore. Following this, the police also nabbed the three persons associated with the incident and an investigation was started. The three culprits admitted to having abducted Shivamurthy and killing him in Mettupalayam on Monday. The three also further revealed that they dumped the victim’s body in a lake near Hosur in the Karnataka- Tamil Nadu border.
The three culprits were identified as Vimal,Manibharathi and Gauthaman. Another person was also arrested from Karamadai based on investigations. Shivamurthy is the son-in-law of Chidambaram’s sister-in-law and the police are currently enquiring about the motives behind Shivamurthy’s murder.
