Film 'Chhichhore' was released in September of 2019 and it was a tremendous hit. It was a total laugh riot, had some great performances and an interesting narrative. The film was as inspiring as it was hilarious. In the 67th National Film Awards, 'Chhichhore' managed to win under the category of Best Hindi Films. The cast and crew of the film are as happy as they are emotional and they have dedicated the award to late Sushant Singh Rajput.

Shraddha Kapoor who was the lead actress in the film, shared her excitement on Instagram. She shared a poster of the film, thanked the director for choosing her and remembered Sushant.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala dedicated the awards to the memory of Sushant. He said, "On the behalf of NGE I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can't get over his loss ever but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie."
