Director Cheran, who has been known for his hit movies like Porkalam, Autograph, Vetri Kodi Kattu, Thavamai Thavamirundhu had last directed and acted in the movie Thirumanam, which was a commercial failure. The director, who is active on Twitter has now tweeted against cyber bullying.
Cheran has tweeted that along with his fans, he condemns and opposes people who comment on social media in an abusive language in the name of being fans or critics without knowing the hardwork of actors for many years, and without knowing the reason for their success.
Cheran had been one of the contestants of the third season of the popular reality game show Bigg Boss hosted by Kamal Haasan, and had been in the house for more than 80 days. After his exit from the show, fans of fellow contestants Losliya and Kavin had been bullying him on Twitter.
