In a career that swings between acting and directing interesting and heavy subjects, actor-director Cheran is now setting foot in music. The veteran has launched his very own music label, Dream Sounds. The first venture of Dream Sounds will be that of the director's own 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai'.

Starring Sharvanand and Nithya Menen in the lead, the audio launch of 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai' will have its audio launch in a couple of weeks, on September 15th; the film is said to be based on a real life story that has affected the director, Cheran, at a personal level. The film is currently into post production, and owes its musical credits to GV Prakash. The music label will be launching the audio of 'Appavin Meesai' too, which stars Cheran in the lead and is directed by Rohini. Cheran is also directing 'Yemito Ee Maaya' currently in Telugu, which is the Tollywood version of 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai'.
