Looks like director Rasu Madhuravan is yet to recover from his fascination in casting directors. We thought an ample count of 10 directors in one film, 'Mayandi Kudumbathaar', will have satiated his interest in having directors don the greasepaint. But that doesn’t seem to be the case with Madhuravan, who is now working on his next project, featuring Cheran as the lead.

The movie, yet to be titled, will have Cheran playing hero alone after ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’, and rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. Gnanam Films, which earlier made 'Pirivom Sandhippom' by Karu Pazhaniappan, with Cheran as the hero, will produce this film as well.

Director Cheran, who is currently completing the last lap of shooting for his film 'Pokkisham' is expected to take on this project around September. Rasu Madhuravan has earlier directed 'Pandi' with Raghava Larencce, apart from Tarun Gopi’s 'Mayandi Kudumbathaar'.
