Director Cheran, who had last delivered the family entertainer Thirumanam, has recently seen the latest critically acclaimed entertainer, the Thiagarajan Kumararaja directorial multistarrer flick Super Deluxe. The director has heaped praises on the movie besides the impressive performance of Vijay Sethupathi, on his Twitter handle.

His tweet read "At times we get questions on life, god, good and bad, what's evil, and the film asks the same. The movie is the reflection of all of us who have a lot of perverse thoughts inside us. Cooum doesn't run around us, it runs in us. Though there are cuss words used, Super Deluxe is an unavoidable movie, and the director's hard work is evident in the making, casting, locations and cinematography, and in the next 5 years, many more such films will come".

Cheran lauded Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, for his decision to play a transgender, and for presenting the real looks of transgenders with his makeup. He expressed further that he salutes Vijay Sethupathi for believing in his talent and work and not caring about his image, and called him another Sivaji.
