While campaigning for Sarathkumar`s team in the recently concluded Nadigar Sangam elections actor director Cheran severely criticized Vishal and Karthi asking them to first learn to act properly and then contest the elections. Now that the Pandavar Ani captured the Sangam with a landslide victory Cheran has written a letter explaining what he has against the two leading young actors.

It seems Cheran had approached Vishal and his brother a few years back and after many attempts finally got an appointment and narrated a story to them which they liked and the director had believed that the project was on. But a week later there was no news from the duo and an anxious Cheran had text messaged Vishal asking him the status but still there was no response and after four days Vishal`s brother texted back that they have signed Bala`s film(obviously Avan Ivan`). This treatment had hurt the four time National Award winning director. Similarly when Vishal had apprehended a pirated video disc seller in Karaikudi Cheran had called him and appreciated him but when as a similar measure Cheran started C2H Vishal did not even call to wish him which he had expected from the actor.

Similarly Cheran had met Karthi during his debut days and narrated a rural story about a loving brother and sister which the actor did not like and recently he had again approached Karthi through his manager Prabhu but Karthi refused to give him an appointment. Cheran questions the two heroes that even if they did not respect his caliber as a director the minimum they could have done is met him and said no in a civil way and this treatment made him doubt their commitment in the Sangam to senior actors.

Cheran signs off by saying sorry to Vishal, Karthi and J.K.Rithish if his statements had hurt him and also
