Chennaiyil Oru Mazhai Kaalam dropped?

It is said that director Goutham's Chennaiyil Oru Mazhai Kaalam starring Surya has reportedly been shelved.
Following their success in Khaakha Khaakha, Goutham and Surya teamed up again for the film. However, it is now being said that Goutham has shelved the project and has now taken up Kamal Haasan's next movie which would be produced by Khaja Mohideen.
Meanwhile, Surya has decided to work for director Charan's home production.
