In most of the cities like Chennai and Coimbatore, most of the people are dependent on online food supply portals and apps for their daily requirements. While these online food supply companies thrive and reap huge profits basically by exploiting the laziness of people, they have now started to betray their staff as well by reducing their wages.

In some parts of Chennai, Zomato staffs have alleged that the company has reduced their salaries and that the management is exploiting their hard work. They have begun protesting against the company, clearly explaining how they had an initial pay cut which was accepted and now it has been further reduced.

The staffs of Zomato have jumped into a protest rising against this act of the company. citing that they are not slaves of the corporate and threatened that the company will have to face the consequences if the right salary is not provided. It is to be seen if Zomato will listen to the voices of the employees and restructure their salaries.
