Not long ago, most Telugu movies had to go to Madras (Chennai) as it had all the most advanced technical back-ups for making movies. Hyderabad was seen, at best, as its poor cousin.

But committed local film personalities invested in the infrastructure here and now Hyderabad boasts off some of the best facilities all over India. SO much, in a piquant irony, most Chennai filmmakers come here for shoot and technical improvisations.

But Chennai continues to attract Telugu filmmakers. No not for technology, but as a shooting destination.

As we had written earlier, the Binny Mills there is one of the popular locations for Telugu film shooting.

Pokiri was shot there. Stalin had a stint there.

Meanwhile, the Sainikudu team, led by Mahesh Babu, was back in Chennai for a schedule.

Now, Balakrishna and Sneha are sweating it out under P Vasu directorial eyes in Chennai for their film.

They are shooting on the ECR, a scenic and a sprawling stretch along the coast. The road is popular among the film people as it has all the right things for a film shoot.
