This evening (28/4/2018) the bottom placed Mumbai Indians lock horns with table toppers Chennai Super Kings whom they clashed with in the first match of the season losing it to Dwayne Bravos's last minute heroics.  This match is a milestone in MSDs career as it is his 150th IPL match. In the previous 149 encounters he has seen 88 Wins and 60 losses with one match ending with no result.  His win percentage stands at a healthy 59.45.

Another noteworthy record of Dhoni is that eleven years back he started his IPL career as CSK captain and has remained so for all these years.  Comparitively Delhi Daredevils have seen eleven captains in the same period, Kings Eleven Punjab 8, Royal Challengers Bangalore 5, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad 4 and Kolkatta Knight Riders 3.  Thats Thala Dhoni for you ladies and gentlemen.
