Chennai Super Kings donates to TN coronavirus relief fund

The Chennai Super Kings team owners have donated rupees one crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's coronavirus relief fund. The home team is owned by the India Cements company has Mahendra Singh Dhoni as captain and many former Indian cricketers are a part of the team including Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina and Kedhar Jhadav.

The Indian Premier League tournament was scheduled to begin on March 20th with the first match between CSK and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai but got cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The BCCI has since indefinitely postponed the IPL until further notice.
