The Chennai Super Kings team headed by M.S. Dhoni is camped in Dubai for the upcoming IPL 2020 tournament that gets underway from September 19th onwards with the finals to be played on November 10th. As a major setback to one of the favorite teams to win the cup, 13 members of the team tested positive for COVID 19.
Among those who got infected were bowler Deepak Chahar and a batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad while most of the others are from the social media section of the team. CSK CEO K.S. Viswanathan has updated ""All others, apart from the 13, have tested negative for COVID 19 They will have to undergo another test on Thursday, September 3. We are likely to start training on Friday, September 4th.
Regarding the Raina issue, there is still no clarity whether he will return back to the team or there will be a replacement for him. However, the good news for CSK fans is that the team is doing fine and will be up and ready to deliver the fireworks in a couple of weeks' time.
