On November 5th the half buried naked body of a woman was found behind the swimming pool at the Marina beach in Chennai. Police have arrested auto driver Vinod Kumar and his friend Premkumar hailing from Triplicane based on the call register in the cell phone of the victim. Read : Shocking! The duo have confessed to killing Kalaichelvi who is said to be a prostitute they used to use regularly. According to police reports Kalaichelvi is from Madurai, married and has two kids but often visits Chennai to indulge in prostitution and has befriended Vinod and Prem. The problem started when one more girl from Madurai joined them and the men became close to her causing jealousy in Kalaichelvi as they started avoiding her.

On the fateful day Kalaichelvi had called Vinod and Prem and all three had a good time with beers and with each other. Then the girl had pestered them by asking why they are avoiding her and going after the other girl that resulted in the men beating her to death with beer bottles. The men escaped after covering the body with sand as they feared someone might see them.
