Chennai man who kept salon open in lockdown tests corona positive!

A hairdresser residing in Valasaravakkam, Chennai has tested positive for the coronavirus. The 36-year-old runs a salon in Koyambedu area and after reporting fever, went to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital where he had tested positive for Coronavirus.
Currently, Koyambedu police officers and health officials are in the process of tracing people who came in contact with the person recently. Reportedly, the man had kept his saloon open besides giving haircut and massage by visiting homes of several people.
At the moment,32 persons from Valasaravakkam, Nerkundram and Koyambedu are under home quarantine as they came into contact with the hairdresser. The hairdresser had given 25 contacts and 32 were traced by health officials, and their samples were given for testing. As said by a police officer, thr hairdresser was on a daily visit to the houses of 10 to 15 customers and currently no FIR has been filed on the hairdresser for illegally opening salon in lockdown.
