Thala Ajith starrer Viswasam, his 58th movie that also stars Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Anikha Surendran in prime roles was released on January 10 as a Pongal special. The movie directed by Siva and bankrolled by Satyajyothi films has received the patronage of audience all over, and has inched towards the 100 crores club.

With fans and celebrities praising Viswasam, the movie has now received praises from an unexpected corner. Chennai deputy commissioner Arjun Saravanan, who had got an opportunity to watch Viswasam, heaped praises on the movie in his facebook post. He had expressed that though many liked the movie's story, songs, acting or fights, he liked some significant aspects of the movie.

Arjun had posted that he loved the sequences where Ajith and Nayanthara wear helmets when riding a bike, and Ajith wearing the seat belt when driving the car even when he has to rush to protect his daughter, besides also liking the concept that parents should not force their dreams to their children.He added that TN is one of the states with most road accident deaths, and actors like Ajith advocating road safety can lead to fans also following them, and congratulated Ajith, Siva and team Viswasam.
