Praggnanandhaa has become the world’s second youngest Grandmaster at the age of 12 years and 10 months. Sergey Karjakin of Russia was the first to achieve this feat in 2002 when he was 12 years old and 7 months.
Praggnanandhaa has been under the guidance of his chess mentor Ramesh since he weas seven years old. He has stated that Praggnanadhaa is very good at the game and is working towards becoming the world champion very soon.
