Chennai corporation orders ATM disinfection after every use!

In an effort to avoid the spread of infection amidst the coronavirus pandemic and the increasing number of cases to above 900 in Chennai, which is now topping with most number of cases in Tamil Nadu, the Chennai corporation has now announced an important order.

Chennai Corporation has ordered all ATMs to be disinfected after every usage to avoid the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus. Besides, the corporation has also added that the offices and private establishments which are violating this rule will be sealed by the corporation officials.

Chennai Corporation has also instructed Government offices and private establishments which have been allowed to operate under essential services category even in the lockdown must disinfect twice a day besides ensuring social distancing and handwashing.
