'Chennai 600028' Sequel team to move southwards for the next schedule

Director Venkat Prabhu is presently busy with the sequel to his debut directorial 'Chennai 600028'. The sequel retains almost all the cast members of the first half- Siva, Vijayalakshmi, Jai, Premji Amaren, Nithin Sathya and many others. Also Vaibhav who was not part of the first part, has also been added in the star cast of the sequel.
The shoot started last month and now the team has completed the first schedule. From reliable sources we learn that the unit will be moving to Thenkasi to resume the shooting soon.
It is worth recalling that unlike the 2007 super hit 'Chennai 28' which was entirely shot in Chennai, the sequel will have some important portions shot in small towns of Tamil Nadu. The story takes place in places like Thenkasi, Coutralam and Sivakasi.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is doing the musical score for the film while Rajesh Yadav is handling the cinematography. This is the maiden production venture of Venkat Prabhu who has launched his new banner Black Ticket Company.
