Though critically acclaimed for his performance in Tanmatra, Mohanlal is desperately searching for a blockbuster, and into this scenario comes Sathyan Anthikad.

The two, who have teamed after 12 years for Rasathantram, say that they have dished out all essential ingredients for the movie to have a spell-binding effect on the audience.

The movie is about the encounter between a carpenter played by Mohanlal and a Tamil girl in an interior hilly village of Kerala (Meera Jasmine).

'It is the essence of the chemistry of the duo's life that develops and the ultimate values of human love which has been dealt in this movie,' Sathyan explains.

Alagappan has handled the camera while Ilayaraja has composed music.

Gearing up for a Vishu release is Rasathantram.
