Superstar Rajinikanth is playing the role of a cop after two decades in 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. The shooting is going on at a hectic pace in Mumbai with Bollywood star Prateik Babbar playing the chief antagonist. Now the exciting Malayalam talent Chemban Vindo Jose has reportedly joined the cast to play another villain. After impressing in several Malayalam films Jose made his Tamil debut in 'Goli Soda 2' directed by Vijay Milton in which also he played a terror-striking villain.

'Darbar' has Superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara as the lead pair while Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas and others are in the cast. Anirudh is scoring the music after the successful 'Petta' which was his first with uncle Rajini.
