If you forget this is a remake of Telugu film `Kotha Bangaru Lokam' the Kannada version with some modifications from senior director S Narayan is a film at the right time for the all section of people. The equality of concentration for teenage children and parents is what the most liking point without much of fuss and flaws.

What is worrying is that director of high repute has not been able to see his son in an up-to-date style. The hairstyle should have been corrected and the close up angles should have been taken care.

Whether it is attraction or love is the confusion between Balu (Pankaj) and Sapna (Rupika). Balu is safeguarded with all precaution by his doting father and mother (played by Ananthnag and Sumalatha). But for Sapna the situation is very harsh in her family. The care and affection what Balu gets is not available for Sapna but she gets the right kind of help and attention when she elope from the home and Balu is missing for her. On the right advice of his father Balu keeps his concentration on studies for four years. This is after making all pranks in the initial days of his college and also falling in love with Sapna. When he turns on stage to get convocation certificate it is only his mother who welcome him as his father had died in a train accident. But what happens to Sapna? She gets helping hand from none other the college lecturer. Balu quite often questioning his physics lecturer (played by Sunder) that can you safe guard my love for four years turns up as Good Samaritan for Balu and Sapna.

Finally everything is safe and comfortable feeling for the audience. There is proper justification done to parents and children.

This is the second film of Pankaj. He has not improved enormously in acting. He has to go a long way. His innocence is good. The hairstyle is disproportionate. He has the ability to dance and fight. Roopika from sundry roles to heroine in this film tried very hard and the sweet looks of her has added to this film. Ananthnag and Sumalatha steal the show. Dwarakish is apt. Rajendra Karanth and Kote Prabhakar are impressive.

Mickey J Meyer music is the major plus point of this film and the lyrics written by director Narayan are very touching. The mother song, Nijana.... Yavudho Nannalli Harushavu..are very melodious and meaningful. Jagadish Wali camera work is superb when it comes to lighting.

This is a message filled cinema for the entire family.
