'Chellata' completes 50 days

The debutant producer Jagadish Kotyan of 'Chellata' and his team are happy with the success of the film but not happy with how the film is treated by the industry. When a film is making good collection it should not be disturbed says the Apex body policy but in Mangalore, Mysore and Bangalore the film 'Chellata' has been disturbed despite of splendid collection says Kotyan a big name in the transport business in Karnataka. He operates 1600 buses all over Karnataka from his Janani Travels but the operation of his film was quite difficult for him because of his innocence and no experience in the film business.

However the returns have come for his debut film and to celebrate the success he convened a get together on Monday evening at Green House Restaurant.

From the day one I started directing this film I had the symptoms that this film would become hit said director M.D.Sridhar addressing the media. He thanked his team and the media for extending good cooperation.

Television artiste turned hero from 'Chellata' Comedy Time Ganesh recalled the persons who cajoled him when his name was announced as hero of the film. For all those who spoke ill about me I have given an answer now. I have signed another film 'Namaskara Namaskara' the title of my television talk show that has completed 900 episodes. The new film is going on the floor from July 15 disclosed Ganesh. Humble Ganesh traveled all the centers where the film is showing and sat with the audience to know their reactions.

Music director Gurukiran said a good film will be watched by the audience despite of hardships to it in screening. 'Chellata' has set an example. This is a tonic of encouragement for the newcomers he felt. When hyped films are crashing at the box office the low key film like 'Chellata' is a respite for all of us he informed.
