Official status on Mani Ratnams health

Rumours started doing the rounds in Kollywood circles that director Mani Ratnam is hopitalised. Official word has come that the ace director had gone in for a routine health checkup and he is absolutely fine.

Mani Ratnam has completed the shooting of his multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and the post production has begun in full swing. The A.R. Rahman musical has Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari and Mansoor Ali Khan in the cast.
