Cheekati Rajyam
Universal hero Kamal Haasan has collaborated with his long-time associate Rajesh M Selva for Cheekati Rajyam. The film is loosely inspired from French film Sleepless Night. Touted to be a crime thriller, Cheekati Rajyam has Trisha as the female lead. Kamal and Trisha will be seen as cops from Narcotics Control Bureau in the film.
A bilingual in Telugu and Tamil, the film is produced by Kamal Haasan under the umbrella of Raaj Kamal Films International. The Tamil version of Cheekati Rajyam titled Thoongaa Vanam has hit the screens on November 10 and needless to say the film has received outstanding response from the audiences. Kamal is hoping that this film will fetch him hat-trick hits at the box office.
Also featuring Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini, Sampath Raj, Asha Sarath and Kishore in prominent roles, the film has cinematography by Sanu John Varghese. Ghibran of Run Raja Run fame has scored the music. The film is poised for release on November 20.
