Checkout 'Jaanisaar' latest song 'Kateeli'

A video of a new promotional song Kateeli' from Muzaffar Ali's latest film Jaanisaar' has been released. Sung by Malini Awasthi, the video features the beautiful Pernia Qureshi in a red lehenga and delicate jewels; in a graceful performance to tunes of this classical number.

The dance sequence has been choreographed by the respected Guru Kumudini Lakhia , who also worked with Rekha in Umrao Jaan. Kateeli' is an ode to the an era where classical music and dance were at its peak.

Jaanisaar' is a period drama starring the gorgeous Pernia Qureshi and Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi in lead roles. Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, the film essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, and a prince brought up in England.

Jaanisaar' is directed by Muzaffar Ali of cult classic Umrao Jaan fame and produced by Meera Ali. The film released on August 7, 2015.
