Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently took to his social media handles to share the first poster of his film 'India Lockdown'. The poster features many silhouettes of people affected by the Covid-19 lockdown and image of a large lock looming in the background.
Along with the poster, Madhur wrote, "Film India Lockdown is all set to go on floor next week. Here’s a teaser poster. Give your love. ❤️"
About the film, he told Mumbai Mirror, "The film is inspired by true events and is set around the first two months of the lockdown (March-April 2020). It has multiple tracks running simultaneously, which revolve around migrant workers, sex workers, businessmen and lonely people. It will essentially deal with poverty and isolation. All of us were holed up in our homes, and for the first few months, we didn’t know what to do with our lives. We were not accustomed to this life. Through the film, I will try to understand what helped us survive."
