Nithiin features as a prisoner in 'Check', directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. The First Glimpse, released on Sunday, casts the 'Bheeshma' actor as a highly intelligent chess player but the description be as much of an allegory as it is literal. We see Sampath Raj's character describing Nithiin's Aditya as a traitor and a terrorist. As a prisoner on death row, Nithiin looks the part.

Starring Rakul Preet Singh as a lawyer, who is seen arguing that the hero is innocent, the film has Priya Prakash Warrior in a glamorous role.

Also featuring Posani Krishna Murali, Murali Sharma, Tripuraneni Saichand, Harshavardhan, Rohit Pathak, and Simran Chowdhury, the thriller has music by Kalyani Malik. Cinematography is by Rahul Srivastava. Art Direction is by Vivek Annamalai. Editing is by Anal Aniruddhan. Produced by V Anand Prasad, the film is also written by Yeleti.
