As we all know actress Chaya Singh is acting in 'Power Paandi' the debut directorial venture of Dhanush, the hero of her debut film.

After getting her dream debut with the blockbuster 'Thiruda Thirudi', Chaya Singh almost went nowhere only to make a comeback after seven years in director Shankar's production venture 'Ananthapurathu Veedu'. Then she acted in Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal'.

Now after 13 years gap the 'Manmatharani' works with Dhanush in 'Power Paandi' the film which stars Raj Kiran in lead role.Apart from writing and directing the film. Dhanush also plays an extended cameo as the young age Raj Kiran in this film.

This is what the charming actress had to tell IndiaGlitz, about her character in 'Power Paandi' and working with Dhanush.

"I am playing Prasanna's pair in the film. I won't say it is a powerful character. Rajkiran sir's character will be powerful in the film and people are going to enjoy it. I was the heroine of Dhanush's first film out of his home production. I am also going to make a comeback quite sometime after 'Idhu Karthirvelan Kadhal'. I felt it will be a good comeback and accepted the offer. It's a very friendly character that I play in the film. "

"As a person Dhanush is the same as he was 13 years before. Down to earth, committed and he is very stubborn as a director in getting things done.
