The Hindi remake of Prabhas' 'Chatrapathi' will hit the screens on May 12. Its teaser started playing today in theatres screening 'Dasara' and 'Bholaa' (Hindi).

Director VV Vinayak seems to have made a true onscreen hero out of Bellamkonda Sreenivas. He maintains a muscular physique that is surely to leave the baddies fainting. He kicks the villains like a pro. And he looks hyper-emotional as well.

The remake seems to be faithful. When SS Rajamouli made the film in the mid-2000s, the VFX and other technological interventions were at nascent stages in India. The Hindi remake can be expected to be far superior as far as the visual feast is concerned. Get ready for delicious visuals and pounding action.

A lot relies on the shoulders of action director Anl Arusu, who has his task cut out.

Produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, the actioner is a complete package. Cinematographer Nizar Ali Shafi and music composer Tanishk Bagchi have worked on the movie. Sunil Babu, the production designer, has erected a village set already in Hyderabad.
