Charu Haasan returns as don once again in new movie

Veteran actor Charu Haasan the eldest brother of Kamal Haasan has his own claims to fame having won the National Award for Best Actor for the Kannada film 'Tabarana Kathe' released in the year 1987. He has since acted in character roles with all the top stars including Rajini, Kamal, Vijay and Ajith.
After a long hiatus Charu Haasan returns to the silver screen in 'Dha Dha 87' directed and produced by Vijay Shri G in which he played the lead role opposite Saroja the grandmother of Keerthy Suresh.
Now Vijay Shri G has once again cast Charu Haasan as a don in his upcoming untitled film in which he once again plays the central character. The photos have been released which show the nonagenarian closely resembling the late Maharashtra politician Bal Thackerey.
Vijay Shri G has stated that he already shot seven days with Charu Haasan in March before the lockdown and is planning to shoot the rest of the film post lockdown with other actors and wait for the virus to be completely eradicated before calling Charu Haasan again for shooting.
