Charmme is stepping into Kannada film industry, possibly for not getting enough recognition and opportunities to play opposite big heroes in Telugu film industry.
Already Genelia became a big star in Kannada and is playing opposite several top heroes there and Charmme is treading the path shown by her. As of now, she is playing opposite Kannada star hero Upendra, for 'Lava Kusa'.
Upendra and Sivarajkumar are playing heros in the movie. Jennifer, who played heroine in 'Naga and Manasunte Chaalu'-fame is playing opposite Sivarajkumar as heroine. It seems the Kannada film industry is according a red carpet welcome to the Telugu heroines who were not getting adequate recognition in Tollywood.
Looking at this trend, we can expect dubbed films from Kannada language into Telugu in the near future.
